IELTS MEANS (THE INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEM) which denotes the ability of English language of those who are interested to study or work where English is spoken. In IELTS four skills are assessed: listening, speaking, writing, reading. There are two types of tests Academic and General. Speaking and Listening are the same for both tests whereas Reading and Writing tests are different. In addition, Listening, writing, reading tests are taken on the same day but the Speaking test can be taken within a week before or after the other tests.

IELTS Academic Test is for those people who are applying for higher education in English speaking countries.

Some important information
•There are four parts of IELTS listening (30 minutes) reading (60 minutes) Writing (60 minutes) and Speaking (Approx.14-15) The total test time is 2 hours and 45 minutes. The Listening, Reading and Writing tests are taken on the same day The Speaking test can be on the same day or up to 7 days before or after the rest of tests.

• Candidate under the age of 16 is not eligible for IELTS.
